About Sheffield U.K branches of Roe /Younge /Turner/Wragg and their twiglets
This site has the decendants and ancestors of all 4 of my grandparents. As for the Roe side from which I decend they all were born in Sheffield South Yorkshire England, worked in are connected with cutlery, silver manufacturing or in the steel works for which Sheffield is well renown for all over the world. My gt. grandmother Roe, who was a Brazewell, came from a very large family and have collected a lot of extended family from her side.
The Wragg and Young side so far also were all born and died in the Sheffield area, their proffesions varied from shoemakers to working again in silver and steelworks.
My gt grandmother Wragg, who was a Jordan, came from County Mayo,Ireland, the only person born out of Sheffield.
The Turner side of my family I have very little knowledge of apart from my grandad his children etc., nothing at all can I find yet on his ancestors.
