This is a link to the past as well as a look at the here and now. I started 

with my maternal great grandparents not realizing that I was not starting at 

the beginning....but in the middle. Most of the information on the Jopling-

Smith-Jenkins side came from a copy of a family tree that was prepared by 

William Alonzo Joplin Sr. but is not dated as to when it was completed. 

Also some was found by doing searches on the Jopling/Joplin names and matching 

names and dates to what I started with originally.
