This Family Genealogy web site was created for the WOOD Family and extended Families in July, 2003 and began with Rev./Dr. Jesse Lee WOOD (1839-1896). It is now being expanded to incorporate many other related families and is being added to daily. It is intended to be a legacy to the present and future generations of all the Families.

My interest in researching my genealogy and Family roots began after Ross Clark WOOD funded research that produced a book on his branch of the Family called "WOOD-HENRY, FAMILY ROOTS & HISTORY", published in 1984 by Lineages, Inc.. However, it wasn't until 1996, after developing chronic health problems that forced an early disability retirement, that I was able to devote significant time to genealogy.

This web site is very much a work in progress and there is much data, photos,  etc., to be added as time permits and as additional input is received from various Family members and as more research is completed. Photos for many  individuals are needed. Many thanks to everyone for your help!

For security purposes it was decided to require a password to access the site  and to suppress from reports the year of birth in the birth date for living individuals.
