About Przeniczny Family Tree
Please sign in to see more.
'People will not look forward to posterity,
Who never look backward to their ancestors.'
                               Edmund Burke

The Adams and Wilkinson family have their roots in the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex, Surrey, Sussex in England and Angus in Scotland. The Przeniczny family originated in Poland and Lithuania.
The Woods family have their roots in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Canada, Belgium and Austria.

My husband's parents journey from Poland to England via the gulags of USSR WW2 called "Warsaw Hamlet" or a more detailed version called "A Polish Heritage" can be accessed from the Useful Links in the box on the left.

My Family Tree, wherever possible, is backed up by birth, marriage, death and other certification or official documents. Where it is not the notes explain the possible connections and deductions.

I would like to thank the following persons for their contributions:

Harold Wilkinson, son of Herman Wilkinson b 1897
Geoff Godwin, a descendent of Richard Lock b 1790
Jayne Paternoster, a descendent of Ezekiel Paternoster b 1810 Jeff Cousins, a descendent of George Sporle b 1831
Mahala Mehmet, a descendent of Richard Sporle b 1700

'Your tombstone stands among the rest;
 Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
 On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
 Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
 One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
 I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
 And come to visit you.'

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
