Welcome,I hope you enjoy viewing my family information. This site is dedicated to each and every member of my family, past, present, and future generations to come. I started doing research on my family in the 1980`s when Mrs. Naida E. Bahling of Sacramento, California, asked me to help her with the Manasco family, which is my husbands family. I hope everyone that looks at it will have fond memories of our loved ones. This site contains many family names. My maiden name of Melton which has had many spellings over the years: MELTON, MELTONE, MELLTON, MELTIN, MELTEN, MELTAN, and MILTON. MELTON is an English name and it
derives from an old English term meaning "middle farm". The first recorded instances of Melton occur in the Hundred Rolls, a document drawn up in London in 1273; one John de Melton (in Norfolk), a Nicholas de Melton (in Yorkshire), Adam de Melton (in Suffolk), and Ricardus de Melton (in Yorkshire) are registered. My mother's maiden name of SMITH which is Scottish, German, Irish, Dutch, and English. My great-grandparents names of PERRY, which is English; HAM/HAMM which is English and German; MORRIS which is Irish and Welsh; and MORTON which is Scottish and Swedish. My husband's family names are MANASCO, (MANESCO, MENASCO, MONASCO, MONESCO), ODOM, EDGIL, MILLWOOD, and CAGLE. This is work in progress, so please be
patient, as I continue to add new information along the way. Remember to sign the GUEST BOOK and let me know what you think. If anyone has any information or old photographs they would like to add, please feel free to email me at kmanasco40@yahoo.com.

Thanks so much to those of you who have helped in my search for our history!

GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.! PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR TROOPS TO BE BROUGHT BACK HOME SOON.
