My father John Charles Young was born 1905 in Little Bras d'or,Cape Breton He lived on the Old  Gannon Road in his dads homestead . The name of the road was later changed to Maple View Dr.He  worked in the coal mine on Halfway Road, Sydney Mines. His father was John Robert born 1879 who  married Annie Beatrice Boutilier born 1883. John Robert,s dad was John Henry Young born 1843  who married Mary Benoit born 1845  Note: Mary was the daughter of Elizabeth LeJeune married to  Angus Benoit in Cow Bay ( Port Morion )and his dad :John Young born 1814 was married to Mary  Ann Fortune (Fortin)born 1814 and his father was Francis Lejeune born 1772 married Margaret  Lejeune born 1793 of Bras d'or , Cape Breton.

My mother was : Mary Ann Bridget Hall born 1916 daughter of Paul  Hall and Catherine McAlllister . My mom was born in Curling , NFLD and her parents were married  in St. Georges District, NFLD. Her father's parents were Micheal Hall and Mathilda Schumph.  Mathilda was born in Cheticamp , Cape Breton and moved to Nfld.. I want to start tracing my  roots on my mother's side now . So if you have any information on Catherine McAllister's family  or Paul Hall's family .

The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index.
