About The McAlister, McDowell, Johnson & Green Family Tree
Hello, and welcome to my website!
I am always looking for new information on branches of my tree, so please contact me if you have anything! I also have information that I have not yet posted on here, so if you are missing anything, please let me know, and I will do my best to help.
I would like to thank everyone who has graciously shared their family information with me, especially Margaret Corner, Keri Cotton, and Mary Fraser, who have greatly helped me with the Coburn line. I also thank those anonymous family members who had the foresight to collect and record information before it was lost to time.
In many cases I have been working with older records and information compiled by others, and realize that it may not always be correct. Please let me know of any errors or omissions, and I will correct them ASAP.
The surname of the More family of Almonte, Lanark County, Ontario is often spelled 'Moore', and the two seem to have been used interchangeably. Original documents from Scotland use the 'More' spelling, and I have used this spelling in this family tree, except where a branch has consistently used the 'Moore' spelling.
I try to always be very careful about protecting information about living relatives. If you have any concerns about your information or your branch of our family tree, please contact me.
I am currently adding citations to posted information.
I hope my tree is helpful to you, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Best Wishes,
Kayla
