About Kimballs N Da Genes
Please sign in to see more.
PLEASE NOTICE: (1) When requesting an invitation to join, please give me basic information.... grandmother/grandfather/mother/father/and your full name. This is because if you are not listed in a family line yet, then I have to add you as a guest (and that only allows you to look at certain info)

(2) When looking up your name, everyone is listed "last name first", so remember ladies, if you are in the database, your name will always be listed with your maiden name.
Thanks

KIMBALL FAMILY GENEALOGY
(KIMBALL, KIMBLE, KIMBELL, ASHLEY, PARKER, DAY, WILSON, Nugent, etc....)

Psalms 127:3-5 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward..."

FROM OUR ROOTS TO THE LEAVES, WE ARE TRULY BLESSED!

I am happy you are giving me the opportunity to share some of my family history with you. I have not been researching my family tree for several years now. My sister (Esther Kimball Haywood) and I did a lot of research through records in library, past census records, family members, and actually went to several cemeteries in and around Franklin Parish. So I know there are several births, deaths, marriages, etc.. since then.. So we just need to add you and your family information correctly and get this ball rolling again.

I utilized the 1850, 1860, 1870, etc census... have copies for reference, joined and researched several genealogy sites on line, was in contact with Theresa Kimball Roche and Virginia Ewing (who is a cousin on the Ashley-Day connection) in 1996 - 1999 also The Kimball Family association, and many other researchers, we all came to the conclusion that our Kimball line goes back to England. (Joseph, William, Benjamin SR, David, Benjamin William S, Benjamin F, Joseph, etc..) We have research library records and archives, census and newspaper courthouse clippings, etc...)

I am sure there are errors in names and date of births, etc... if you have the correct information, and have the access to change it, please do so. If you cannot send the information to me and I will correct it. There are names listed as unknown boy/girl ... this is because a family member may have though or remembered a child but not the name... If you know the name please supply.

Also feel free to share your stories on family members.. If you plan on writing any stories about family, make sure you won't be stepping on toes to do so. I have found out some very interesting facts about the Kimball Clan. I would like to share them with you. Please visit my Kimball Story Page . Once there you'll find a story about Benjamin Franklin Kimball (1825-1900) Bem C Kimbell, and Joseph Kimball.(These were stories told by my uncle. Please feel free to let me know of any additional info you have found or need/want to add or edit.. after all this is your family too!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
