I have been tracing mine and my husband's family trees for many years. I have held two family reunions. The first in St Arnaud Victoria in 1996 and the second in Creswick Victoria in 2001. The second reunion marked 150 years since the arrival of the first Hyder's in Australia.

In 2001 I published a book "Ordinary People Extraordinary Lives" all about the Hyders, Romeo's and Taylor families since their arrival in Australia circa 1850's.

I wish to thank my husband and my two beautiful children for all their love, support and paitence. Also a thankyou to all the people who have helped me with information or research this is greatly appreciaed.
