About Butcher/Caley, Watchman, Welton
The Butcher and Caley Family genealogy web page was set up in loving memory of Percy William Butcher (1911-1997) and his wife Violet Louise (Caley) Butcher (1911-1983). Both Percy and Violet were born in Suffolk County, England.

We welcome a Watchman branch of cousins through Henry Caley's (1839-1900) children Robert R. Caley (1874-1962) and Angelina Caley (1879-1933). Robert R. is my mother's father. Angelina married Ernest W. Watchman (1877-1901) and had Ernest Walter Caley (1896-1953). Ernest Walter Caley had Roy Dennis Ernest Watchman (1920-2007), Rex Percy Walter Watchman (1921-2002), Ronald George Watchman (1927-), and Raymond Claude Watchman (1933-2007).

We also welcome a Welton branch of cousins through Margaret Victoria Caley (1900-1982) who married Robert Joseph Welton (1902-1950). Margaret Victoria is my mother's sister. It's through Robert's son Arthur Herbert George Welton's (1928-1998) children that I've met on my facebook.

It`s nice to be able to reach each other through facebook...If anyone has SKYPE please let me know. It`s a free internet phone and viedo service.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
