The Fisher Family Ancestors come mainly from England,Scotland,Ireland and France.James Fisher Born about 1790 In Wiltshire England saw his son Daniel Transported for life to Van Diemans Land,30 years later due to a death bed confession he was pronounced innocent receiving a pardon from Queen Victoria... The Caddy line comes from St Hilary and Marazion Cornwall England..From 1760 Alexander Merrie's Great Grand Father is said to be James Merivale of France he escaped the French Revolution by boat to Scone in Scotland and the name changed to Merrie. The Watmough/Peacock families arrived on the "Wallace" from England in 1841.The Watmough's have been traced back to 1560.The Crompton's back to 1419,with Samuel Crompton the inventor of the "Spinning Mule" a relative, also on the Crompton Line Is the Gibb family of the Bee Gees Fame. There is a lot of family history in Blackrod in Lancashire U.K.
St Katherine’s Church in Blackrod was the sight of Generations of Births Deaths and Marriages. On my first visit in 1997 the Minister told me that the Headstones had been laid down and grassed over for they
Feared some may fall, only the more notable ones were remounted and can still be seen today. The Gardner Family can be traced back to1748 in Kincardine Scotland with the Australian Gardners Arriving in Australia in 1952 aboard the T.S.S.Cameronia. When doing a family tree it is the work of Countless people from all sides of the family and there are of course skeletons to be found everywhere, the closest one to me (Max Fisher) was my Maternal Grandfather who was illegitimate, not good in 1884 but quite acceptable today. Most of this is the work of others who are too many to name here but a few names
must be mentioned,Betty Wilson and Audrey Wood,Christine Randall. Herb Bennett's daughters for their work
in the archives in Canberra. A special thank you to John Stewart for some dates taken from his excellent work
“From Bolton To Ballarat". The Family I am sure are grateful to all who have contributed.A Family Tree never stops growing and contributions are always welcome.Compiling this information from so many sources, some on scraps of paper, some in illegible writing some only word of mouth memories has been sometimes confusing but always interesting and rewarding. The mistakes are all mine.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
