The EDWARDES Coat Of Arms
COAT OF ARMS Sermine, a gold lion rampant. (Taken from Burke's General Armoury) FAMILY MOTTO: Duw fyddo ein cryfdwr - God be our strength.
 Origin: Wales

Honoring my husband's mother's Family, Edwards & Browns of Kentucky, mostly Casey County . Our Edwards family are a hardworking, loving family.

The Edwards menfolk are known for their fun teasing, always telling you that 'I'm prettier than that brother' & calling their mom, Sallie Roe Brown Edwards 'Ma Sallie'.

'Ma' was the finest Christian woman I have ever known, beautiful & graceful, down home, an inspiration to all her knew her. I remember when I first married my husband Marshall, 'Ma's breakfast table was laden with eggs, bisquits, gravy, bacon, ham, pinto beans, home made jam, fried potatoes and the fragrant smell of coffee .

The Edwards / Brown family are strong in faith, charactor, and closly knit.

It is said our line is of Cherokee ancestry, this has not been proven, however the dark eyes & hair, strong bone struture & attractiveness makes one think this is true.

A special Thank you to Tom Edwards of Nashville TN who began this journey many years ago in the research of our Edwards line.

This has been a labor of love & dedicated to our Edwards & Brown family ancestry, in memory of the precious souls who have gone Home & the living family today.
