The interaction between the Shapiro and Bialosky families began in what is now Lithuania.  That  area was referred to as Pol-Russ (it depended upon who won what war as to who was in charge of this  area of Eastern Europe).
 The earliest dates are shown to be 1812 in a schtetl called Mariam, Pol-Russ.  Much of the  references are anecdotal as told by Jessie (Bialosky) Saltzman who was born and died in Cleveland,  Ohio.  Using a 1968 family reunion pamphlet written by Samuel Medalie, who was married to one of  the Bialosky's, and Jessie Saltzman I was able to cobble together this family tree. I hope whoever reads this finds it as fascinating as I did with what can be a living family tree. As of November, 2012, I would like to thank my 3rd cousin (once removed), Jack Bialosky Sr. and  through his hard work I have expanded this family tree by about another 200 names and connected the  Bialosky and Shapiro families by going up an additional generation creating 2 unknown Bialosky's to  complete the bridge to create 4 sections of this large family.
