About The Sandoval Family
Please sign in to see more. This is the history, in names and pictures, of Felipe Sandoval and Victoria Arellano, who left Mexico as legal immigrants and as husband and wife in search of a better life. Felipe left Mexico first leaving his young wife behind and Felipe worked at crop picking until he could return to Mexico and bring Victoria to the United States. Their life in the USA was not an easy one as they raised children during the Great Depression. In all, they had 12 children together. Their first two died in Mexico and the remaining ten were born in California. Felipe was a laborer who picked crops in Central and Southern California until he was too ill to work and after his death, April 26, 1946, Victoria moved from Casa Blanca, a hispanic neighborhood of Riverside, to Glen Avon. At that time the two oldest children were married but she continued the struggle to raise her remaining eight children. Victoria did remarry in 1952 and the struggle for money still continued but was lessened with the remarriage. Victoria also was able to buy her one and only home in Glen Avon. Felipe's and Victoria's family has grown tremendously and they would both be in awe at the number in each generation. Victoria passed away August 16, 1997.
I would hope that each of my siblings would continue to provide me with changes to their family so I can keep the Sandoval Tree updated.
