About Our Family
Thank you for visiting Our Family website. We appreciate your interest in family history.
This website was started over ten years ago by our original webmaster Kellie Beale as a holding-place for information from family
documents languishing in attics in New Zealand including a 300 year old book. He has stepped back and handed over to his sister
Edie Beale who can now add any photos or information for you. There may be new marriages or grandchildren to list.

The GEDCOM format of TribalPages connects nearly 3000 individuals into a family tree.
To find your family -
Type the Surname or Maiden name of any ancestor in the Search space top right in the black bar. Click Find next to it.
From the list that appears, choose one that’s about the right date range and click on it.
It will show the family page of that person. Anything in blue and underlined will take you to other links.
Click on Back to go back at any time.
There are now a thousand ancestors listed from our initial connections.
Visiting family members who request an invitation receive an automatic confirming email from tribalpages right away.

Lost relatives? We are happy to help look for them too. In recent years we have tracked down the Blairs (Scotland,) Kelly, Hicks
(Devon) Cookes (Shropshire) Bateman (Worcs) and Simms in Ireland to answer queries. Not much luck with the Gibsons though, and
Sullivans are our current focus.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
