About THE Muir Grillion Family
Please sign in to see more. Much of the research for this site was completed by various family members, without their hard work this site would be mostly empty. I would like to thank Yvonne Grillion Mooney for all of her work on the Grillion/Hager/families, My line is the August Grillion Line. Bill Prugh for his work on the Prugh Bruch family. A big thanks to my cousin Catherine Dycus for sending me the info for the Dycus family. I am still looking for info that helps me find my GG grandmother Bertha Quandt, Martens, Schultz, Hahn.
On the Muir and Cameron side I want to thank Helen Cameron Donaldson who had completed most of the Cameron research. still looking for a few clues there. Thanks to Evelyn Sinclair Blair for the work she had comprised on the Angus and Muir families. We are still looking for info on the Muir line
Much of my info was found by searching Ancestry.com and also the LDS famly Search in addition the Scotsland People database for numerous facts regarding the Muir Conn family.
When this site was started I really thought that I was just going to chart the Muir/Conn and the Cameron Families which are my Husbands Scottish family. In the process we unearthed links to many many generations on both sides of our family.
I am still looking for information on the Pannier family from Perryville Missouri and the Alexander McCoys of Lyon County Ky but my adventure is still young.
During this search we have made many new discoveries and connected with new family. An entire group of Muir's in Dallas were discovered that had previously unknown to all of us. Connections to 5 Mayflower immigrants on Craig's side. A possible connection to English Royalty on Craig's side also.
Alas the search goes on.
The search and project at times has almost consummed me. I have to slow down from time to time to acknowledge that everyone else is not as interested as I am.
