About My Woods Tree Branches
Please sign in to see more.
PLEASE sign our guest book, so I know you were here. It helps me know that I am not doing this just for myself.
Over 20 yrs. ago, I started researching the Nesbitt family. It was so interesting getting to know our ancestors that I started researching more & more branches of this wonderful family. Here you will learn about our military heroes, murder victims, millionaires, & much more. Be sure to read OUR FAMILY & GUNS, under the stories tab, there are some very interesting stories there!!!
This site will be UPDATED FREQUENTLY, so please check in often. If you find any errors, know any additions, or have any questions, please contact me. Or if you find any errors according to my documents or your personal knowledge (example - dates don't make sense) or if you know I have someone as living that isn't or visa versa. You won't hurt my feelings at all. I try to verify all information, so if you have any documents, including photos, old letters, Bibles, etc. that may be helpful, I would appreciate copies. If you would like copies of any documents that I have, I will be happy to share.
Thanks to all who have helped me with researching our family - Grace Nesbitt-Lyons, Hollis Coomer, Rosalie Moore, Betty Doctor, Paul Woods, Ed Lyons, Bob Davis, Renee Hardy, Maxine Moore, Anita Green, George Dill, Doug & Carol Baker, Jeff Timmons, & others.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
