The info you will find here has been collected from numerous family  members, and descendants of these surnames. All data has not been fully  proven, and as this is a work in progress, not all resources have been added at this  point. Please rely on your own proven research for accuracy, but take whatever  info you want.

Have you ever met someone new

And when you got around to names

Discovered to your delight

Your name and theirs was the same?



You say, 'We must be related!'

They say, 'Oh, I doubt there is a way.'

But if you do family research

That's one thing you NEVER say.
 


Almost everyone with the same surname

Is related in some form or other 

It may take generations to prove it

It's obvious we are not brothers. 



But even a cousin several times removed

Is a relative never-the-less

And I cherish every cousin I find

I know you are one of the best.
