2020 Family Reunion: Date/Time TBD will be held at Mead Park in Corry Pa Hosts will be the Ottaway Families
About Ottaway - Blynt Descendants
8-17-09
Once I found this remarkable site, there was no turning back. I have been working
deligently on our heritage/family literally morning and night. (before going to work
and as soon as I get home from work...compulsive, obsessed or maybe I'm possessed??)

In this day with all the technology at our fingertips, emails and the internet helps
give a vast array of information and search engines. Some of the information I have
entered I did find through the net, but need help from the entire family to complete
our family tree.

Please feel free to ask for an invitation or contact me through the site. Relatives
who join are able to edit/add/change details within their immediate family.
I would like to keep this site current for generations to come.
Thanks & God Bless,
Susan Jane Louise Winderl Dole Short (now that's a name!!!)

Don't forget to sign the guest book (even though you aren't guest, you're F-A-M-I-L-Y).

9-4-09 Information within the family website has been obtained through web searching
(check out the links), info Randy & Roger Ottaway had, Corry Museum near Mead Park,
Corry, Pa, the Fenton Historical Museum Jamestown, New York, my mother, Marian
Ottaway's family bible, old photos from albums Mom had, family bible from Uncle Roger
& Aunt Judi and family. I have a long way to go to complete "Our Tree" for the
Ottaway-Blynt families, but am well on my way.......Sue

Since I started this mission, Bob and Nancy Ottaway also lent a hand by obtaining information at Cemeteries in the vicinity of Corry ... they also helped with research for our Grandfather, Floyd Ottaway for any info on him at the Corry Library. Through that search we were able to find our Great-grandfather, Fred.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
