About Bloodlines: Roder/Tulowetzke/Dinnel
Welcome Everyone!
This family tree was started by my father and I
took it over many years ago. If I have invited you to this webpage, it's because you are family. I encourage any additions to the bloodline to be completed by emailing me or by contacting me. You are welcome to update your personal information in order to keep this going and give our descendants our clan's history. This is a work in
progress so bare with me as I continue to add more information, stories, photos, etc. After all, we don't know who we are until we understand where we came from.

I have written a book that included a family crest, maps, cemetery plans, and family information. For a copy of this book or a particular line. Contact me @ jlynnruiz17@gmail.com and I'll get one to you.

There are changes in the spellings of family names such as Roder, Rodaer, and Rhoder. The Rodaer's
are listed as Families with Connection to Little Chute, Wisconsin. Little Chute was known in history as a place that Dutch-Catholic settlers came to in 1848. Father Theodore J. Van den Broek, born in the Netherlands, settled there and purchased land to build a church. St.John Nepomucene Church, and to provide an area for immigrants from the Netherlands to live. This was a free passage for the workers and their families. Three Marie Magdalena and America had been booked for the passengers. These boats held approximately 918 Dutch Catholic immigrants.
The emigrants were not poor, they risked most of their wealth on the chance for economic improvement. By 1927, 40,000 Dutch Roman Catholics had immigrated. Most headed for major cities, while some were farmers and used their land for that. This is important as it details how the Roder's originally came to the United States.

The Whiting family started with the Puritan Great Migration with William Whiting immigrating from England and was developed from educated and wealthy individuals. Many were either military or religious leaders. One of the earliest settlers, William Whiting was the original proprietor of the town of Hartford, Connecticut.
William was a merchant of wealth and was deemed a gentleman by King James of England. Several of the letters written by William is now in Connecticut State Archives and sealed with his arms. There are several notes on his family page that are interesting and worthy of reading.

The Ingram family link is on the Dinnel side. We are descendants of Richard Warren and Francis Cooke, part of the original 12 signers of the Mayflower. YES!! We are descendants of MAYFLOWER immigrants. This is my complete bloodline so some family members will not pertain to you.

The Tulowetzke line is a work in progress. The spelling of the surname has changed multiple times throughout the line so it is challenging. I am working with another family member to complete that line.

Welcome and Enjoy!
