About Rosier Australia
Please sign in to see more. This web site focuses on the ancestors and descendants of John Rosier who came from England to Australia in 1850 at age 4. It also shows some information about other members of the family of James Rosier. I have been pruning the tree since October 2020 to maintain my focus on my direct ancestors and their spouses. I have attempted to prepare short notes about these people, and also some photos. There are now fewer links to second cousins and their families, etc.
I regard my work on this tree as almost complete, although I would like to make sure that I keep updating it to include any important events that occur, especially the date and place of deaths of the older persons in the tree.
You will need to email me to get the access codeword to enter if you wish see information about living persons. If any living persons prefer not to have their date of birth listed, please advise me: (1) only year of birth or (2) no date of birth at all. There will inevitably be errors and omissions on a web site like this. Please let me know of any changes that you would like me to make.
I encourage you to use the many features of the View tab on this Tribal Pages site to look at family trees, list of ancestors and descendants, etc.
Please note that the other family tree links (below) may have become out of date. Note also that there appear to be other early Rosier trees in Australia that do not seem to be linked to ours, one in Tasmania and one in South Australia. There is also a Rosier family who came to Australia from the Netherlands after WWII.
Thanks, Malcolm Rosier
