About Durr/Long Family Tree
Hello, and welcome to the Durr/Long Family Website. I am delighted to present to you the information I have compiled as of July 1, 2009. If you have any additional information or corrections you would like to contribute, I would be more than happy to hear from you. Please feel free to contact me by signing my guestbook.

Before we delve into the fascinating history of our family, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed to my research. I extend my thanks to individuals such as my cousin Tracie Durr, whose curiosity sparked the initial questions for her class assignment. I am equally grateful to my aunt Pearlie for her efforts in compiling and organizing the gathered information. Special recognition goes to my grandmother Joanna Long, whose enthusiasm for our family's heritage ignited my own passion for research. Additionally, I would like to acknowledge the valuable contributions made by Tim Rowan and numerous others, who shared their legends and insights. Above all, I extend my deepest appreciation to Herman Ruple Durr for his unwavering dedication and hard work. His extensive efforts have not only validated but also clarified my own research, propelling me further than I could have ever imagined.

The history of our family has been passed down to me through various narratives, each presenting a unique perspective on our ancestral legacy. From tales of resilience and triumph to accounts of cherished traditions, our family's story is a tapestry woven with love, courage, and determination. As we explore the rich tapestry of our past, let us celebrate the contributions and sacrifices of those who came before us, and let us continue to preserve and honor our remarkable family heritage.

Once again, I extend a warm welcome to you and encourage you to delve into the wealth of information contained within this website. May it serve as a testament to the enduring spirit and unity of the Durr/Long family.
