About CROFTS-HASLAM FAMILY TREE
This is the family tree of the CROFTS (Leicester, England), HASLAM (Bolton, England),
REWALD (Pomerania, Germany), BRIGHT ( England, India, Australia), WILSON (Bolton England), and FLETCHER
(Bolton, England -Ireland) families. The CROFTS family group central to this family tree reside
mostly in Queensland, Australia. The Crofts are 4th generation Australians, three sets of
great-great-grandparents having migrated to Australia during the 19th century.

This family also has links to New Zealand (through the Imhoff branch) and USA (through the Rewald
branch). There is also a link to Scottish royalty through the Bright family. Emily Jean Bright
married John Oliphant in 1865. The Oliphants can be traced back to Elizabeth Bruce, daughter or the
Scottish king Robert the Bruce, through marriage. To locate and follow this link, look up Emily Jean
Bright and follow the lime green family line marker for her husband John Oliphant (b 1837). With
some perseverance, you will eventually find Walter Oliphant of Aberdalgy, who married Elizabeth
Bruce. You can also locate Robert the Bruce in the Name Index under Bruce, Robert 1, King of Scotland.

The CROFTS-HASLAM family tree is constantly evolving. As webmaster, I upgrade information and add
photos on a regular basis. I edit and correct any mistakes of dates or names as soon as they are
detected. However, if you find incorrect or additional information, or you know of a family member
who would like to become a guest member, please contact me by email (suzo1@internode.on.net) or
through this site. If you are a member, you can add or edit information on this website.

I'm happy to see that people are showing interest in our family tree, and thank you for your
comments and contributions!

Susan Crofts
