I was born Patricia Elizabeth Atherton and have been called Patsy, but mostly I go by Pat. My partner in life Is Paul Sanagan and we have four children and seven grand-children.

On a trip to western Canada the summer of 2011 celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, we rediscovered family connections and 
 explored roots including those of my mother Eileen Kelly Atherton and her mother Julia O'Toole Kelly and father James Alexander Kelly  and my father Francis Xavier Atherton and his mother Mary Louise Alice Heffernon Atherton and father John Joseph Atherton.

I became quite interested in geneology and the ancestry game whereas Paul had been hooked for a quite awhile.

Returning to Southampton in Bruce County, Ontario, I began a series of adventures in family tree development.

As a researcher by trade and an internet buff by preference, I hope I can share some of the family stories with this website.
