The Rollins' family came from Randolph, and Pitt county, North Carolina. I'll started with John ROLLINS,sr., ROLLINGS or ROLANS, born abt 1773, died 1843 in Caraway Creek, Randolph county, North Carolina. I found John's father is name Charles Rollings, born abt 1753 in Pitt County, North Carolina. All information was founded of both men serving in American Revolution War. My uncle, John B. 'Johnnie' Rollins from Jefferson City, Missouri, born 1912,(he now deceased) he said that three brothers came from England to start a new life in America. There names were, James, Charles, and Roderick Rolans/Rawlins/Rawlings/Rollins/Rollings.
The Byrd, or Bird's family date back as far back as far back as 1023 a.d. Charleton LEBRID [later BYRD, or Bird] who died in 1058. He was from England. This line is married into the royal family line. Names were: Plantagenet, Mortimer, Stuart/Stewart, Campbell, and Neville, and many more.
Chastain's family tree, started with Estienne CHASTAIN, Sr. Born abt 1572 in Berri, France.
HORN family name came from Germany. This is my grandmother on my mother's side. The Horn's were in the Kentucky settlement fighting the indians and british. George Rogers Clark was the commander of many of my ancestors.
