Bartniki, Przasnysz County is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Przasnysz,  Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.  It lies approximately 3 kilometres north-east of  Przasnysz and 91 kilometres north of Warsaw.  Population unknown.

Bartniki, Lidzbark County is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kiwity, Warmian- Masurian Voivodeship in northern Poland.  It lies approximately 13 kilometrres east of Lidzbark  Warminski and 40 kilometres north-east of of the regional capital of Olsztyn.  population unknown

Bartniki, Augustow County, is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lipsk, Podlaskie  Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the borderwith Belarus.  It lies approximately 10  kilometres norht-east of Lipsk, 37 kilometres east of Augustow, and 78 kilometres north of the  regional capital of Bialystok.  Population is unknown

Grand Father Andrze Bartnicki was born in 1882 and resided in Plawy, Oswiecim County Poland.  He  emigrated to the United States, departing Europe aboard the ship Blucher, from Hamburg, Germany  and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on March 12, 1903.  He settled in the Detroit, Michigan  area, found work and saved enough money to send for his beloved.  As the story has been told, when  he met the ship in Philadelpia, his beloved's family sent not her, but her older sister.  Can you  imagine how Andrze felt when, coming off the ship was not the women he loved, but her older  sister.  He must have realized that this was what was to happen.  He did the honorable thing,  married Bronislawa Herud and raised a family of honorable men and women.

Grand Mother Bronislawa Herud was born in 1892 and grew up in the village of Brzezinka, Oswiecim  County, Poland.  Plawy, Oswiecim County lies 4 kilometres west of Brzezinka. She emigated to the  United States to marry Andrez and raise his family.  During World War II the village of Brzezinka  was chosen by the Germans to become the site of the death camp "Auschwitz II".

The surname Jurczyk is of Polish extraction, a pet form of the personal name Jurek.  Jurek is a  pet form of the personal name Jura.  Jura is a vernacular form of Greek Georios (George).

Grand Father Wawrzyniec (Lawrence) Jurczyk was born in Osick, Austria/Poland on Aug 14, 1890. He  emigrated to the US and settled in the Detroit, Michigan area.

The surname Hosner is of German extraction, the occupational name for a knitter of Hose (garments  for the legs), from the plural form of Middle High German hose plus the agent suffix -er.

Grand Mother Michalina Hexena Hosner was born on Sep, 16, 1895 and resided in Pasicznn, Poland  prior to emigrating to the United States in 1913.  She left Europe aboard the ship Prinz Friedrich  Wilhelm from Brenen, Germany and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on June 2nd.  She took up  residence with her brother Stanislaus in the Detroit, Michigan area.
