Hi, I'm Rebekah Markham nee Krilovs/Johnson. I'm married with three children, and currently living in Warwickshire,
 Great Britain.
I have been researching our family trees for around eight years, and in that time have found: A Royal link, connected to Princess Diana and the ancient Kings of Wessex. Captain Vancouver was my ancestor Elizabeth Berners cousin, and Berners Bay was named after the family. I have a huge network of Romany gypsies through my great grandmother Gentila Roberts, and the gypsy boxer Billy Joe Saunders is distantly related; Freemasons; 18th Century smugglers; ancestors from Ireland, Canada, Sweden, Australia (including convicts), USA and New Zealand; famous footballers (Chris Riggott and Bill Leivers!); a mystery Latvian or Russian navy link; three murderers, and for any of you who know a bit about gardening, the 'Markham Clematis' was named after one of Paul's distant ancestors, Ernest Markham. (Ernest was Paul's great great grandfathers cousins son!). While in the same family, Mrs Emma Hill (nee Grisold)took tea with Queen Victoria in her cottage. Emma's husband was head of the Royal kennels at Windsor. Paul's ancestor, Sarah Wilkins, married into a family of Mormons, and emigrated to Utah, USA in the 1850's. They were amongst the first settlers, and are held in high esteem in the Utah region, with several biographies written about them.
Much of this wouldn't have been possible without leads, details, look-up's and photographs from distant and close living relatives we have come into contact with through sites such as Genes Reunited, the RTFHS, Ancestry, Rootschat, and Curious Fox. We're extremely grateful to you all! We hope that the info (apparently most of it accurate, apologies if there are any inaccuracies but I have never claimed to be a professional!) will help people searching the site.
I'm always happy to hear from fellow researchers, and my direct email address is romanystar@rocketmail.com
Many thanks to everyone concerned for your help, and please feel free to sign our guestbook!

HANDY TIP: To establish what relation you are to ANYONE else on this tree, click on Tools, then on Relationships. Scroll your own name down on the name finder, then that of another person on the tree.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
