About  The Reynish Family Project

STRANGERS IN A BOX Come, look with me inside this drawer, In this box tied with a bow At some photo’s, all in black and white, Of some people we should know I wonder what their lives were like,? and how they spend their days? or what about their special times? Will we ever know their ways.? If only someone had taken time To tell us, who, what, where, or when, Then these faces from our heritage Would come to life again Could this become the tragic fate Of the photo’s we take today? Will the faces and the memories Just be hidden away? Please take time to save your stories, Seize opportunity when it knocks, Or someday you and yours could be

JUST STRANGERS IN A BOX.

WELCOME

The information in this Family Tree as been compiled through the joint efforts of a group of people, all of whom claim to be a descendant of Thomas Reynish b1540.Each of the group members has added their own part of the Family Tree.

The majority of names are shown with a "Red dot" preceding them, this indicates that that person is a direct descendant of Thomas Reynish b1540. Our Cousins in Australia & New Zealand will also have a “Blue Dot” denoting that they are descendants of George Edward Crowther Reynish b.1836. There are far to many names to list here,so I’ll just say many thanks to everyone for your time and effort .However one name that I will mention is our group leader Pat Wilson,a member of the Guild Of One Name Studies specializing in the Reynish Surname, who over the years as been a valuable source of information to us all, freely giving far more information than any search engine you’d like to mention. Pat also deserves acknowledgement for arranging the first and extremely successful U.K. Reynish Family Reunion in Solva, Pembrokeshire in October 2010, It is from that reunion that this group was formed.

There is space in the album for 5,000 Photo’s, If you have anything you’d like to upload (Birth,Death or Marriage Certificates.Army records- Headstones or just family photo's ) please feel free to do so.

Please read the paragraph below “Getting Around” for further information on reports etc.
