About The Ramos - Pena Tree
Please sign in to see more.
This idea was brought to me by Deon Jennings, who was married to my cousin Yolanda(RIP). My parents were both born in PR, but met in NYC. I am a 1st generation Nuyorican, and this is my tree.

The purpose of this tree is to pass along facts, names and dates to the future generations so that we may all have a sense of family and history. As time marches, we all must make an effort to reach out to family,so that the blood that runs through us continues to do so. If you want to add any facts, names or dates, you can email the info to my wife Angie(Negra) or myself and we will add it to the tree. What started as vacation with my wife and her family in Culebra, became the beginning of discovery of family I did not know existed. When I visited my aunt Herminia prior to heading to Culebra. She told me I had family there. That news stunned me. She gave me the number to my paternal grandmother Teresa's sister, who lived in St. Croix in 2007. She passed away in 2008. At that point, I found members of the Carino family in Culebra, PR in 2007. They are from Teresa's side. It was great to find more family. I visited where my paternal grandparents were buried in Fajardo, PR. I met my 1st 5th cousin Alejandro in Culebra in 2007, who's mother was Miss Culebra 2006. I miss my grandparents, but I will always carry them in my heart.I miss having my family around, like I did as a child. Over the last five years, I have reconnected with family I haven't seen or heard from in over 15 years. In 2009, I met my 2nd cousin Ivelisse, whose mother is Yvette Montes. I recently added a branch from my parental grandfather's side. The descendants of my great uncle Galin, great aunt Felicita, and great aunt Laura Ramos. I just got in contact with my 2nd cousin Tex's daughters in FL in 2010. During the Summer of 2010, I met some of my relatives from St. Croix, and my 2nd cousin Abigail, and contacted her daughters. In 2011, I've met 3rd cousins : Matilde Rios, Dan Maldonado, Ciara Rivera, and 4th cousins Khiannyz and Allison. In July 2011, I met my 3rd cousin Marcus, on my paternal grandfather's side, and Marisol Ramos and her fmaily. In 2013, I met my cousins Cynthia and Marlene, and their kids. So whether you're a Ramos,Pena, Rivera,Clark,Torres or Ayala,DeJesus, Figueroa, Rios,Perez etc.,there's a branch waiting for you on our tree. Let's all do our part in reconnecting and meeting new family. Why wait for funerals to meet others? The search continues..
