If You Could See Your Ancestors
              All Standing In A Row
Would You Be Proud Of Them Or Not
              Or Don't You Really Know
              Some Strange Discoveries Are Made
              In Climbing Family Trees
And Some Of Them You Know
              Do Not Particularly Please
If You Could See Your Ancestors
              All Standing In A Row
There Might Be Some Of Them Perhaps
You Would Not Care To Know
              But Here's Another Question Which
Requires A Different Point Of View
If You Could Meet Your Ancestors
Would They Be Proud Of You.........!
                                  By Nellie Winslow Simmons Randall.

The following Family Tree has been compiled from the many available genealogy research sources, family records and information given to me from many people that I have had contact with on the internet and which I am forever grateful to them, their help has been wonderful. Many thanks go to Ann Meadows, Sarah Rhodes, Shelia Scott, David Valentine and Mark Adair and all the others who have willingly shared their information with me so freely. It has been a long and interesting journey with lots of twists and turns along the way. The journey continues as it is far from being finished and it has truely been a labour of love. From Kings to Convicts or should that be Convicts to Kings !!!......What a journey it has been and continues to be.

My Convict Ancestors:

John Parkes. Margaret Southern. Joshua Valentine. Alexander MacKay/McKay. Robert Woodley.

Robert Lovell, also James Lovell and John Lovell, brothers of Robert Lovell.

They are 'My Australian Royalty.'

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
