About Sanford Family
This is the Sanford family heritage. Arthur Merrill Sanford grew up in Roeder Township of Whatcom County, Washington. His Mother was Sarah Annie Sharpe Sanford, and father was Merrill Eugene Sanford. In Nov of 1942 he married Evelyn Ada Brenn, Hayes, Sanford. He than went off to the War. When he returned they moved back to her home town of Juneau Alaska, to settle and raise there Family Lorretta Dawn, Chuck Edwin, Merrill Arthur, Ralph Alton and Mary Ann Sanford on Basin Road, in the house that Evelyns adopted parents owned and lived, Charles E. and Phyliss McCormick. This is a work in progress to find and docuement the heritage of the Sanford family. I have with the help of many have traced back the Sanfords to at least 1631 "The Great Migration Begins", a study completed by the New England Historical Geneological Society has completed. John Sampfort Sanford traveled across the ocean in 1631 on the second voyage of the LYON, arriving in Boston. His second wife Brigit Hutchinson was the daughter of the famed Annie Hutchinson know as the American Jezebel or the Women Who Defied the Puritans. Because of this and other history of the Sanfords docuementing them back this far has been guite successful and fullfilling to accomplish. There are many more stories to be found and added. And as I say this is a work in progress, with many mistakes an or errors, corrections are gladly accepted, as new docuementation becomes available. If any one has any Information or history on a Dorothy Brenn, or the Brenn family around 1900 to 1925 In the Washington area or Canada, this information would be greatly appreciated. So please contact me if you have something to add, all knowledge is welcomed and appreciated on Persons or individuals connected to this family tree. If I can in any way be of any assistance in you search please
 let me know.
