I was encouraged to start my own Tribal Page by the positive acknowledgments that I have recieved from sight administators to my email queries. My initial searches were very exciting and I have that my Grandmother Ethel was the descendant of four NSW convicts, Mary Donovan, Charles Collins, William Sconce and Jane Mills. The story of William Sconce is a very interesing one, and thankyou to John, for his generosity in sharing the information which he has collected about William. We continue to search out more facts about our great, great Grandad. I hope to be able to trace the origans of all my convicts, before they arrived in Australia.
The Mahoney's come from South Australia, where Murtogh Mahoney was first recorded in about 1854. Grandma Christina Sinclair continues to remain a mystery. I welcome any feedback or corrections to my information and I am only to happy to share my information with any who are interested. Thanks to those at the Wollondilly Heritage Centre at Camden, who were a great help in my search for Mary Donovan and Charles Collins, and to The Dungog Historical Society who helped me to trace Caroline Reeves and John Hancock. A special thankyou to Barbara, a fellow descendant of Mary and Charles. Without her freely offering her hard seached facts about Mary and Charles, my findings would not have been possible. Sharing my interest in family decsendants. thanks to John, who has been a constant source of help in tracing the Baldock and Bawn families. My hearfelt thanks go to "Uncle Bob", for sharing his information about the Stillaway Clan. His stories about the early years of his brother, Alan, have allowed us to better know our father and father-in-law. I have found some interesting newspaper articles about various family members which you can view by clidking on stories on the home page.

A big thankyou to Joanne and Melissa, who travelled to Adelaide to attend a Mahoney Family Forum, with Mahoneys, from all over Australia, sharing their family history with fellow descendants. Jo and Melissa have found photos and headstones in SA, which now appear on this site. Please sign the guestbook after visiting my sight.
Our quest remains, to find our Granmother, Christina Sinclair! After visiting the site, could you please sign the guestbook.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
