I have been researching my family's tree for nearly 20 years. Most of my successful  lines seem to come from Yorkshire!

I combine family history with industrial archaeology, an interesting look at what my  ancestors did. Industrial archaeology helps to understand what our  ancestors did in the past and the kind of lives they led. The Greater London  Industrial Society has great expertise in this field.
