About Roach Family the story so-far
During my research I found that both sides of the family lived-married
and died within a short radius of their birthplace, that was true untill the
late 1800's. when with the comming of the railways, they started to spread
around. Now we have relatives in most counties of the U.K and even a few that
have settled oversea.
I am extremely gratefull for all the help I have received from various
relatives & Friends in the compiling of this Family Tree.
A lot of the information contained in this tree I have aquired from
others, So I am unable to guarantee its authenticity. If you should spot any
errors in the information,or have some new information e.g.(Birth-Death-
Marriage Dates, and especially Photo's) that you would like to add to the
tree. please contact me via the E'mail link at the top of this page.
STRANGERS IN A BOX
Come, look with me inside this drawer, In this box tied with a bow
At some photo’s, all in black and white, Of people we should know
I wonder what their lives were like,? How did they spend their days?
and what about their special times? Will we ever know their ways.?
If only someone had taken time To tell us who, what, where, or when,
Then these faces from our heritage Would come to life again ……….
Could this become the tragic fate Of the photo’s we take today?
Will the faces and the memories Just be hidden away?
Please take time to save your stories, Seize opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be Just strangers in a box.
This Tree is not yet complete.
AND WHILST THERE IS LIFE ON EARTH....IT NEVER WILL BE!
