About Family Histories

Welcome to the Family Histories™

I was born as Christopher Simpson before being adopted by the Brooker family in 1990. I have really enjoyed researching my family over the years and hope you too will enjoy sharing your stories with me in return. I have been researching my family history since 2005 and thought it was about time to share and post all my findings in one place rather than all over the internet on various websites.

This webpage provides the persons related to myself and my personal research. However with much of my research now exhausted and with only small amendments required. I now do most of my research helping others within the community for free and accept donations for my efforts. If you would like some help with your research please contact me via the email listed below. You can also sign the guestbook as well to show your support and give feedback.

Other genealogists I have had the pleasure of working with or have met as a result of my research have helped in providing all the information on this webpage. So it is with special thanks to these people for helping make this possible. Also to close family members who have also helped me in my research as well, driving me around the country to check gravestones and record information from parish records.

I have researched 3,219 people sharing 19,292 records to date.

Mr Christopher Simpson-Brooker

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
