This family history was started by Clyde Smith, August 12,2012. Unfortunately he passed away on August 15, 2015 in a freak accident, while clearing branches off the roof of his house, he fell off.  His oldest son Andrew made me the administrator and I have tried to keep this site going. Uncle Clyde put in many many hours of research and it is not easy work, very time consuming.  My hope is for every family member who is interested to use the site and let their family members know about it. 
He started with the West Virginia Smiths and added his Mother, Hazel Sprague's family info as well as his wife, Nancy Wentz's family, hence the name. He did a very good job and was able to go back many years.  Please see the Smith Family Crest and newspaper articles under files.
