About The Pooles/ Simpsons
Please sign in to see more.
I started my family tree with the hope of finding out my Grandparents names, not realising that I would become hooked on this.
The main names of my family are POOLE of course and I thought they would be mainly from Derby but I was wrong we go as far as from Worcestershire, Glostershire and my Great grandmother on this branch was originally from London. The main occupation in Worcestershire was working in the leather trade The JERRAMS my fathers mothers family are from Breaston Derbyshire and were in the bootmaking trade.

The FLETCHERS AND KERRY'S are from Smalley and were Framework knitters, I hope to add some information about the trades mentioned here in the future, the scandel of the family seems to be that Martha Fletcher had 5 children and never married, I find that amazing as she lived in such a small village. I have visited the church in Smalley and found my 6x great grandparents Thomas KERRY and Elizabeth GOLLINGS grave, also next to them are my 7 x greatgrandparents Thomas KERRY and Ann HOLLAND

On my Mothers side I have at the moment hit a brick wall with my grandmother and up to now have only found out her name>>> Mary Margaret BREEN.

My Grandfathers family name is THOMPSON and also in the family are SKILBECKS, BAINES and CAVEEN.
The THOMPSONS and SKILBECKS come from the Yorkshire area and I am still finding out about their occupations.

Ann CAVEEN my great great grandmother is from the Isle of Man and I hope in the future to visit and find out more.

I have started to add the tree of my husband Clayton Paul Simpson

Please look round and I hope you enjoy the journey back in time, I wil be adding to the site often so please sign the visitors book and look in again and if you have any thoughts of any additions it needs please contact me

The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
