INDIAN HESTIGAE:
There is both a Federal recognition status and a Tribal
recognition. Federal Recognition is by a definitive, proven blood quantity, (1/216th.or better)and inspite of the fact that one can be proven to be descended, one cannot be Federally recognized with less than that amount stated above. Being recognized by a tribe depends on your degree of blood line. In this family of descendants our Indian Hestiage is within the Simons and Hinton family. Also Indian Hestiage within the Goleanor family Family, which has not been documented yet.
