Please sign in to see more.
This site is dedicated to the descendants of Janos Szemenkár and Anna Medvedik. They were born in
Dhlé Pole (then Hungary, now Slovakia) in the late 18th century. Today, their descendants can be
found mainly in Hungary, Sweden and the US. Scroll down for more information in English!

Amikor megtaláltad a
neved
a névsorban, kattints rá s amikor előjött az új oldal válaszd ki a Family=család, Ancestor=ősök vagy
Descendants=leszármazottak módot,attól függően,hogy mely részét akarod nézni a családodnak.

Hogy vagyunk rokonok
Fent a "people" alatt válaszd ki a "relationships" fület.Ott válaszd ki a saját neved és tetszés
szerint valakinek a nevét és megtudod, hogyan vagytok rokonok!

Getting around
Since the tree is getting rather large now, the easiest way to navigate is probably to search for
you own name (there's a search option top right on this page, enter surname followed by comma and
then first name). If you're a woman, remember that you're listed by your maiden name! Click on your
name on the results list and then choose either family-, ancestor-, or descendant-mode to view your
family. (For more info about features and how to find your way around this site, see below.)

How are we related?
Click on People in the top meny and the choose Relationships. There you can enter your name and the
name of any other person in the tree to find out how you are related.

Help me update!
Since this is a tree with descendants rather than ancestors, people will continue to be born and
married into the tree. This means that I need input from the people in the tree to keep it updated.
Therefore, if you are a Szemenkar-descendant, I would love to get in touch with you! My e-mail is
anna.axmon@gmail.com.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
