About Clevenger , Clevinger, Cleavinger and Cleavenger Families
NOTE: MOST EVERYTHING IN THIS SITE IS PRINTABLE AND FREE.

This tree was created from research done by professional genealogists as the basis of this tree's foundation.
The information was extracted from their years of hard work to create a documented history of both the families. The Takes foundation was created from research in Luxembourg. Mr. John Tackes is the guru of the Takes and Tackes. (Shuster) The Clevenger information was created from Sarah Clevenger's book, and the research of Ron Rose, James Weible, Cricket McCray, Ronald Cleavenger. Roots Web and other genealogy data bases. Also, to family members that have contributed, from both families, to their line in the tree. My goal was to create a tree of both mine and my wife's into one massive tree from all this research that was done. There is some areas that are vague, persons under 2 different families. Information was initially obtained from the Sarah Clevenger Book. Clevenger families earlier than 1633 are speculation. Information was not obtained from the Genealogy Research Book. A couple of family researchers have up with this information. It is not confirmed or documented. This tree is for all of the family members from both the Takes and Clevengers to enjoy and pass down to their children and so on.
The Betsy Ross Flag is used to represent people who were in the Revolutionary War. (There were a lot of flags used, for the American Army at that time)
