This web page represents more than 45 years of genealogical research.  While I am relatively  sure that it is all correct, I make no guarantees that it absolutely accurate in every detail.   I merely suggest that the information shown here is a very good beginning point for you to  prove the accuracy to your own satisfaction.  It has proven to be accurate enough to help me to  qualify for membership in more than 25 hereditary societies such as the "Descendants of Knights  of the Garter", "National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution" and both "Sons of  Confederate Veterans" and "Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War", and many other similar  organizations.  These organizations require genealogical proof back to your qualifying  ancestor. I have proven that 15 of my ancestors fought in the American Revolution.

I was drawn into this hobby after my Dad's death by a curiosity of why his and Granddaddy's  middle name was "BISHOP" or why an Uncle's middle name was "DOBSON" or why my Great Great  Grandfather's first name was "LOVING" and my research has answered nearly all of those  questions.
