I have added Selective Service registration cards to Stories. Interesting to see their circumstances when they registered. Anything to add?

If you would like to take an armchair tour of the villages in Slovakia and Hungary, this site is searchable by village name or by map.

Try Novosad Slovakia for john U Wargo's home, or Gercel for his brother Georges home when he returned to Slovakia. Note a nice Stork in a telephone pole along one street.
In Hungary tour Telkibanya, Gonc or Boszva.

The modern name of any other village must be used.

See Slideshow colorized and Slideshow colorized two under photos. I have used Ancestry's color tool to fool around with some of the older photos. A struggle, but still fun. Anyone familiar with Adobe photoshop could easily improve the focus and color of these. Anyone willing to try???

My temp email is buzzspeers@yahoo.com.

Welcome to the Wargo Family Tree on Tribalpages.
The first people we all have in common are John U Varga(Wargo) and Elizabeth Olah. They were born in County Zemplen in Hungary, but now in Slovakia, and emigrated to Trenton, NJ between 1893 and 1900.

 John U Wargo and Elizabeth had 9 children, 24 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 70 great-great- grandchildren and 17 great-great-great-grandchildren!

Although it is true that these g-g-grandchildren now have 4 different sets of g-g-grandparents, the Wargo tree celebrates and connects all of us through John U and Elizabeth who were some of the first of our immigrant ancestors who came to the United States. A MAP OF THE DESCENDANTS OF JOHN U VARGA IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I NEED MORE BIRTHPLACES!!!
BELOW THE MAP ARE "STORIES" ABOUT WARGO AND OUR HUNGARIAN DESCENT. LET RON OR BUZZ KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY NEW STORIES/PHOTOS OR ADDITIONS AND WE WILL ADD THEM INTO A NEW STORY!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
