"I am my people" . . . we carry each & every one of our ancestors with us, a mosaic of all those who came before us. In learning about who they were, the choices they made, the values they held, the impact they had, we learn more about history & more about ourselves.
This is an ever-changing labor of love. "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal." ~Albert Pine
I am constantly looking to add data & stories to the people that came before & those that have come after as a legacy of connection between us all.
Each one of us are special, unique in our own right; we have experienced life, love, faith & even death in our own way; we have stories to tell, adventures to be shared, pieces of wisdom to impart, mysteries to be unearthed & truths to be told.
This family has deep roots in this country from Native American bloodlines to settlers from across the pond who all had a great hand in forming it, dying for it's freedoms, people coming to seek a land free from persecution & torture leading to death, roots that are far reaching into the rest of the world . . .
Even in our uniqueness I find more & more how we are all connected. A reminder that even though it seems vast in distance at times, it really is a small world. How just as a ripple on the water goes on & on effecting everything it touches, we too have an effect on everything we touch, whether it be physically, mentally, spiritually . . . I think we all want to be connected & yet feel special . . . every part of a tree is needed, useful, beautiful . . . from the seed to the roots, trunk, branches, to the leaves, flowers, the fruit, even down to the tiniest twig.
Hopefully in our uniqueness we have positively contributed & when our time here is done, in our own way left this temporary home a better place for having been here.
Note: Included here are biological, adoptive & step lines as all are family. The way the information is placed it should be apparent as to where the lines intervene, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
