Gunner Charles Henry Coulson    In Memory Of Arthur Kenmire Durham light infantry 17045 14 battalion who died 19 April 1918 Conde, 11 January 1918 Local casualties Mrs n Kenmire, 51 grace street, west Hartlepool, has received official news that her husband, pte Arthur kenmire, of the d.l.i., is a prisoner of war in Germany. He had been at the front for two and a half years. Before joining up he was employed as a dock labourer. 26 June 1918 Local casualties Mrs Kenmire, of 51 grace street, west Hartlepool, has received news that her husband, pte Arthur Kenmire, Durham Light Infantry died on April 17, at Conde, Germany, while prisoner of war. The cause of death is Unknown. A message conveying the sympathy of the king and queen has been received. Pte kenmire, Who was 31, was employed by the west Hartlepool steam navigation co, prior to enlisting in sept. 1914. He had twice been wounded. On active service Kenmire On 19th April, 1918, at Conde, pte Arthur kenmire, Durham Light Infantry aged 31, dearly beloved husband of Nellie kenmire (nee Coulson), while prisoner of war.Deeply mourned by his sorrowing wife and two Children.
