About The Waight & Eugene Families
Please sign in to see more.
Without Douglas Armitage's help on the Waight side, I would not have as much
information that appears here on this site. Along came Grant Mills and has helped me
some more. A group effort has made the site grow to what it is today.

Recouping the Eugene connection I have tried to investigate the Mauritian
connections. Also added on the 9.8.2011 are some of the Bates and DeBrabander family.

Karen has done most of the work with help from Jennifer, Dannie and Jean. Does any of the
family have a photograph of 109 Eveleigh Street, Redfern at home?
The townhouse's are all gone and a community park now stands on where the Redfern homes initially stood. I
noted that around Eveleigh Street the names are Louis Street, Caroline Street,
Caroline Lane and Hugo Street.
Apparently 54 Terraced houses were demolished and the land given back to the local
Aboriginals, the reason why a community park now stands on that site. I will however
ask the Redfern Council as to when they were knocked down and if they have any
photographs of these Terraced Houses in their archives.

Does anyone recognise these addresses
Eugene Correct Eating Society" Bank Chambers, Hay St
Eugene Joseph, 12 Ostend St, Lidcombe
Eugene Louis, Antwerp St, Bankstown
Eugene L, 13 Hugo St, Redfern
"Eugene'" Hair Specialist, 376 George St
This is our family and if any one has any information? Dont be shy.....

Please have a good look around and send me any messages that you think that may help
me in completing the family. Also could you please leave a message in the guest book
so that I know you have visited.

Regards

Steven & Karen

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
