About The Waight & Eugene Families
Please sign in to see more.
This site has been created with help from Jennifer, Dannie, Noleen and Jean, with out their input we would not have this much information about the Eugene & Johns side of this Tree.

Douglas Armitage has helped with information on the Waight side, providing photos and stories that appear alongside names.
Grant Mills and his father have provided photos of "Pellon" the Waight family home and has helped fill in blanks.

After years of having requested for photos of Eveleigh Street, Redfern.
I managed from a chance connection from a Facebook Group about Historical Sydney and I came across a photograph of the Terrace houses in Eveleigh Street, Redfern. I have inserted this photo and attached it to Louis and Annie Eugene's family photo's as thats wher two of their girls were born.

** Apparently 54 Terraced houses were demolished and the land given back to the local Aboriginals, the reason why a community park now stands on that site. I have however asked the Redfern Council as to when they were knocked down and if they have any photographs of these Terraced Houses in their archives.

Does anyone recognise these addresses
Eugene Correct Eating Society" Bank Chambers, Hay St
Eugene Joseph, 12 Ostend St, Lidcombe
 Eugene Louis, Antwerp St, Bankstown
Eugene L, 13 Hugo St, Redfern (This is across from the Terraces in Eveleigh Street)
"Eugene'" Hair Specialist, 376 George St
This is our family and if any one has any information? Don't be shy.....

Please have a good look around and send me any messages that you think that may help me in completing the family. Also could you please leave a message in the guest book so that I know you have visited.

Regards

Steven & Karen

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
