About Relative Density
File Repository

This site was created by the late Bill and his wife Anne Wardle (nee Hawkins). It attempts to record most of the information collected during their researches over the last 30 years and this has been supplemented by ongoing information being continually supplied by friends and relations connected to the site.

After the death of Bill in Oct 2017 I (John Mellors) offered to take on the responsibilty for keeping both this web site and its associated Facebook page Relative Densisty up and running and hopefully continuing to add information on other associated families

Given time I hope to add information from Nottingham Newspapers this will hopefully add to the information that Bill used to post from the Nottingham Date Book

Can I draw your attention to "Useful Links" below. Item entitled 'Family Videos' This is my latest attempt to share my videos with you all. The link will take you to a short film of Ruddington Framework Museum in Nottinghamshire UK. It goes some way towards showing how many of our ancestors lived. NB: I now change the video regularly. Whilst in the Video Station you will notice 'thumbnails' of other videos. Click on a thumbnail and it will load. Anne and I have visited Ruddington a few times, and each time we have taken our vid-cam. Each cousin that has visited the UK has passed through Ruddington FW museum during their time in Nottingham, other places visited are; Sherwood Forest, Calverton, Gedling, Attenborough, Attenborough Nature Reserve, and of course, Arnold. Other videos include some weddings, holidays, and of course pets. Most videos last less than 35 minutes (2.1GB) and are in MP4 format. And are down-loadable. It would be great if you have any videos to share. If you have, please contact me to arrange an upload. If you have any comments about the videos there is a window for making comments, please feel free to make comments. Or you can let me have your comments through my 'Guest Book'

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
