that belonged to Edith Agnes Gale (1902-2000).

wearing. My thanks to Steve Busson who passed these valued items to me.
HELP NEEDED HELP NEEDED HELP NEEDED HELP NEEDED <(1)James Gale born 1825 son of William and Louisa.Policeman in Hornsey,North London in 1851.Resigned from the Metropolitan Police and joined Surrey Police. He was stationed at Merrow near Guildford. After a couple of months he deserted and was dismissed.James was before the Magistrates Court in 1853 for deserting his post for which he was given 4 weeks in prison with hard labour. It was said in court he had deserted to enlist with the Grenadier Guards. (2) Isaac Singer Dagwell was according to census born in Claygate circa 1782 ,however we cannot locate a baptism. His parents may be Charles and Ann. If anyone finds his marriage I would be pleased to know.NB Marriage now located 1804 in Westminster.. Any references to Dagwells gratefully received especially Surrey or Middx. In the absence of a definite link from Isaac to Charles and Ann we are compiling a tree for the descendants and possible ancestors of Charles and Ann. To access that tree locate Charles Dagwell 1745-1811. (3)Looking for the Baptism of Louisa Powell in Trowbridge circa 1784.
