I am having trouble with the privacy settings on the homepage. I set an access code and have medium privacy so visitors can see deceased descendants. I have a whole blurb under the "About Us" section that I want all visitors to see. It will give them some background about the family and how to use the site. No matter what I do, the "About Us" section always says "please sign in to see more." I don't know how to fix it and I want it right before I send invites to family members.

PLEASE HELP!!

Instead of setting your privacy as 'medium' set it as custom and then go down the list and mark the appropriate boxes. I find that works better than the preset levels.

I tried doing that and the settings I want are the same as the medium settings. I did go and change to have the names of living people showing to people not logged in, but not any of their other information.

No matter what privacy setting I choose, even when I choose no privacy and have the site completely open, it still shows that same message under the about us section.

I know it is a problem then because there was no option to log in because I had the whole site open.

Hi,

Did you get this sorted? I am having the same problem and nothing I do seems to fix it. The site says that the 'About' should be on display to everyone, but it isn't.

If you got it sorted, can you please tell me how.

Sorry, I haven't gotten it figured out. I have not received any response from Tribal Pages tech support. I am really upset about it because this is a big thing for my visitors. It really makes me wonder what would happen if I had a paid membership. Would I get the same lack of help? In the end I decided it was too big of a factor to ignore and I
