What's with the new 'message approval'?
TribalPages.com
TPSupport
It means that the message will be approved by a TribalPages Moderator before it appears on the message board. Till now we were monitoring the messages after they appeared on the board and deleting those which we considered spam, advertising, hostile towards other persons or contained information that should be private.

This form of correction after the fact was not efficient and several times messages would have been read by other or picked by search engine bots before we had a chance to delete it.

Hence, from now, every message will be approved by a Moderator before it appears on the Board. We will try our best to approve message as soon as we can.

Hi TP SUpport

You State

As Forum entries should be FLUID, will we be in the same waiting period as you are with replies, which as you know has not been very good.

Will you also notify the Member who's entry that you do not think as suitable, why this is so, as otherwise a Member can wait for ever not knowing if the entry will show on Forum.

also will this be over the three Forums?.

Will be looking at this entry to see if it is affected by the Above and Time.

Regards

Les

Good. Needed to be done. I am surprised TP have not done this earlier. I don't think any member should have any reservations about this. I don't.

Great move on your part TP.

This is long over do, especially considering some of the nonsense and abuse that has occurred this past year on this board. This is a move in the best interest for ALL members and shouldn't be a problem.

Many boards I participate on of have gone to a moderator screening process and it has cleared out much of nonsense and abuse with members having no problem about the process.
